Watt? 4: The adventures of the duck who was 1000 years old

Watt was annoyed. He wished that his principal was a teeny bit meaner. Otherwise he wouldn’t be here. Yep, he was here, in The Land of Zombie ducks. Watt has seen this story and read it. He just forgot what happens, for some strange reason.

He was annoyed by a little song. He liked that song. He tried to get his memory about the story back. “Song… gangsters… ghosts… asleep… do not listen… sleep… tie you up…x-ecutioner” I’ve got it! thought Watt. The music makes you go to ………. He fainted. He accidentally went to sleep. Was it an accident?

No, it wasn’t. When he recovered, he found himself tied up where he was. Uh-oh, thought Watt as he remembered. I think I’m going to get x-ecuted. The words in the book were clear now. “There is a song at The Land of Zombie ducks. The Zombies are gangsters. There are ghosts there as well. Do not listen to the song or you will fall asleep. The zombies will tie you up. A x-ecutioner will come.” Watt was so surprised. He was the duck who was 500 years old! (The duck who was 500 years old is The duck is 1000 years old’s son.) He remembered that a duck told him that warning. I wonder if I really am 500 years old. Wow, thought Watt. I wonder why I still know that my name is Watt. He began to sing the song. “…and your great-great-great grand daughter,” he sang. He wondered when the x-ecutioner will come.

Soon… Woah. the door opens, and in creeps… The duck who was 1000 years old. Ahhhhhh, yes, thought Watt. The duck who was 1000 years old’s name is called Duckfast Oldwing. He rescued  the duck who was 500 years old. Watt thought that he was going to tell Duckfast that he was actually a schoolduck that accidentally went inside a book. “Um… er… Dad?” asked Watt even though Duck fast wasn’t his dad. “Yes?” asked Duckfast. “Um… I’m not really your son.” “What?!?” “Yes, I’m not. I’m just a schoolduck that accidentally went inside a book.” “You’re crazy!” “No I’m not. You’re even inside a book!” “I am not!!” “But…” started Watt. He stopped. He knew that Duckfast was not going to trust him. Wait, thought Watt. I remember that the x-cutioner is going to come. Duckfast will save me. But… if we’re arguing like this, will I change the story and die? The x-cutioner will come. I’m sure. I remember that. But surely this won’t be the end? Oh well. Goodbye, cruel duckworld!
